About this event

  • 6 hours 30 minutes

National Freelancers Day is IPSE’s biggest event of the year – a celebration of all things freelance, and an opportunity for self-employed people across the country to look to the year ahead.

This year, IPSE is celebrating 25 years as an organisation. In honour of this milestone and all of yours, we’ll be hosting NFD ’24 on 20th June with other celebrations taking place throughout the same week.

Whether you’re new to self-employment or an experienced freelancer, we have something for everyone. Landing your first paying client, securing a dream project, or achieving a consistent income are all victories worth acknowledging. These milestones mark your progress, boost your confidence, and fuel the fire to keep reaching for your goals. After all, every milestone is a stepping stone to an even brighter freelance future.

National Freelancers Day on 20 June will be in a virtual format with sessions throughout the day – so you can access it wherever you are in the world. There will also be in-person co-working days throughout the week - check out the NFD website for more details.

Register to take part in the event for the self-employed in 2024. Registration is now open.

IPSE's mission is to revolutionise the self-employed sector. To enable those who work for themselves to grow their business how they choose. To create an empowering environment where all independent professionals are recognised and celebrated for their passion and dedication. To ensure happiness and health in their career and beyond.

We strive to be the definitive source of insight and information of the self-employed. We launch campaigns to influence policy agenda in government and industry. We give our members the tools and services to support and protect their needs, and host events and networking opportunities such as the National Freelancers Day.

Whether you identify as being self-employed or as a freelancer, a contractor or a business owner, a founder or an entrepreneur or a gig worker, we are the one voice to represent all. Whatever you call yourself, we represent you and guide you on your journey ahead.
